FOSTER SPOTLIGHT: LAURIE
We are so grateful for Laurie, who has been fostering with Action 4 Animals Hawaii for the past 9 months and has opened her heart and home to many dogs in need.
Laurie's passion for helping animals extends far beyond fostering. She founded the Canine Club at Keaau High School, where students volunteer with local rescues and learn about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
When she's not fostering, Laurie stays busy with her own dogs, participating in scent work, rally, and therapy dog activities. Her dedication, knowledge, and commitment to both animals and youth make a lasting impact on our community.

For several years now, Anne has been showing up rain or shine to give our rescue pups the exercise, love, and attention they need.
Her kindness and dedication have made such a difference — and her kids, Riley and Coral, have become an amazing part of our rescue family, too! They’ve helped dog-test so many of our pups and have given countless dogs the chance to find their perfect match. 💕
