How do I check a found animal for a microchip?

Animals can be checked for a chip at any vet's office for no charge.

There is also a scanner at the Hilo Petco - just ask.

Post on your neighbor's social media pages and ask if anyone near by has a scanner. You'd be suprised the number of helpers!

Still can't find a chip reader? Message us and we can see if a volunteer is nearby.

More info about microchips can be found HERE.
