Miso is a 4 yr old Heeler mix, and one of the lucky rescue dogs, who is now in Quebec, Canada.

Miso was a huge favorite with Animal Control staff, who saw what a special dog he was. Miso got his A4A "Freedom Ride" out of animal control to a boarding facility in Volcano, where he romped with other dogs, got walks, & lots of cuddles. He also fell in love with Foxy Girl & a few other girls (shhhhh!). He became an ambassador dog to every new pup who came into A4A, meaning he was trusted to greet them & play with them. However, our 'hunk of love' was always overlooked at biweekly adoption events. After 7 months kenneled at the boarding facility, Miso & his gal pal, Foxy Girl, plus a few others, were accepted by our Canadian Rescue partners- Winnie's Rescue. This took a HUGE collaborative effort to get them all the way to eastern Canada! After a long flight to Boston & a 5-hour van ride to the Vermont/Canadian border, Miso was met by his adoptive angel. Now, Miso fills his days with endless playtime, treats, & cuddle time on the couch watching the Montreal Canadiens ('Go Habs Go!' says Miso).
